Sarah Sherman '26, business marketing at Mansfield

Throughout high school, I discovered my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for business by running a home bakery, Sarah Jane鈥檚 Cupcakes. This experience sparked my love for creativity and the joy of serving others through my baked goods. At Mansfield, I began as a business administration major, eager to explore different areas and uncover my true interests. My introductory courses naturally drew me toward marketing. To me, marketing is about more than just promoting a product 鈥 it鈥檚 about understanding the needs of your audience and helping them find the solutions they鈥檙e searching for.

I wanted a program that would allow me to seamlessly continue my education, and 91制片厂's M.S in I.T program offered that through their 4+1 program. Halfway through completing my master's degree, I was offered a full-time position and still had the flexibility to train for and begin my new career. I wouldn't have had the opportunity to earn my master's while starting a new chapter in my life anywhere else.

鈥淕raduating with a Sales degree from Bloomsburg was quite frankly the best decision of my professional career. The program prepared me for real life professional sales scenarios and put me far ahead of the competition in my job search. Once I began my first job, I separated from the pack and I credit that to the education provided from the Sales professors at Bloomsburg.鈥
