Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step toward financing your education at 91ÖÆƬ³§. The updated FAFSA makes the process simpler and faster than ever.

How Do Scholarships Benefit you?

  • Lower Tuition Costs
    Scholarships can directly cover part or all of a student’s tuition, reducing or eliminating the need to pay out-of-pocket or take out student loans.
  • Minimize Student Debt
    By reducing reliance on loans, scholarships help students graduate with less (or no) debt, improving long-term financial health.
  • Cover Additional Expenses
    Many scholarships can also be used for fees, textbooks, supplies, transportation, and even housing, easing the total cost of attendance.
  • Provide Financial Stability
    With fewer financial worries, students can focus more on academics instead of working long hours, leading to better academic performance and mental well-being.

2027 Scholarships for New Students

Funding for scholarships and grants is limited and award amounts vary.

The Admissions Office evaluates new first-year and transfer students for scholarship eligibility based on academic achievement. Scholarships are available to both first-year and transfer students, with award amounts varying according to academic performance. Funding for scholarships is limited and award amounts vary.

Scholarship notifications will be sent via email and/or posted in the student application portal after admission to the university.

91ÖÆƬ³§ has articulation agreements with selective community colleges that include scholarships; details available on our Transfer Scholarships page.

The Financial Aid Office reviews new PA resident students who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet the criteria for potential need-based grant eligibility. Award amounts for institutionally supported need-based grants are determined based on demonstrated financial need.

91ÖÆƬ³§ competes in NCAA Division II for most sports, with Division I competition in Wrestling (Bloomsburg and Lock Haven) and Field Hockey (Lock Haven). Athletic scholarships are administered by head coaches in accordance with all NCAA rules and regulations while available funding lasts.
